Lanza Training Camp March 2009 (27/10/2008 @ 14:30:06)

The Endurance Coach is teaming up with TrainingTrips.net to organise a triathlon training camp at Club La Santa, March 5th-12th and there are still a number of places remaining. There are several coaches attending the camp to include TEC Coaching and Sports Science Director Marc Laithwaite, World Powerman Series leader Michelle Parsons and BASES accredited sports psychologist David Fletcher who supported the British Olympic swim team and regularly works with international governing bodies.
The training week will be a mixture of theory and practical sessions and costs range from £425-525 based upon 2-3 people sharing, excluding flights. For more information or to reserve one of the final places please email trainingtrips@mac.com

Warrington triathlon club are organising a series of triathlon coaching talks throughout the 08/09 winter period, aimed at age group triathletes these evening presentations cover a range of topics and cost as little as £3 to attend! On November 19th Marc Laithwaite will be conducting a question and answer session relating to VO2 testing and establishing clear zones. Great racing from Matt Shillabeer and Dave Hutchinson at the recent World Duathlon Champs, but other than those notable performances most are enjoying a little R&R...

If you are a triathlete you may have seen the endurance lab featured in recent issues. Nick Cook has been training hard all year in an attempt to see how good he can get with full support, he recently paid us a visit and became the first ever person to visit the lab and reach 500 watts on the Computrainer ramp test.. obviously going well!

Nick's articles can be seen every month in 220 as he makes his way towards Powerman Malasia at the end of 2008..
